Gabby's Bat Mitzvah Project

Hi everyone,

For my bat mitzvah project, I decided to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Walk. This cause is very important to me because my cousin struggled with mental health challenges, and I want to help raise awareness and support people and families affected by mental health struggles.

In September, I will participate in the 2026 CT Capital Area Out of the Darkness Walk at Dunkin Park in Hartford, CT. The walk brings people together to support one another and raise money for mental health programs, education, advocacy and support services.

The event includes a community walk, activities focused on hope and healing, and resources for individuals and families. I hope to make a difference by helping raise money and awareness for this important cause.

If you would like to support my project, donations of any amount would mean so much to me. Here is the link to donate:

Thank you so much for your support and generosity!

From,
Gabby
